IAF MD 4:2025 Guide to Using ICT in Conformity Assessment

International Accreditation Forum (IAF) has released IAF MD 4:2025, a guidance document on the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in conformity assessment activities. This new version expands the scope of the document to include validation and verification activities, in addition to emphasizing requirements for security, confidentiality, and risk management. The document will come into effect on January 30, 2026.
